About The Role

Our market leading Restructuring and Insolvency team in Cheltenham is seeking a talented solicitor to join us.

Renowned for our collaborative environment and commitment to professional growth, we work with insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, company directors, and corporate clients across a broad spectrum of challenging assignments.

A significant part of our practice involves contentious insolvency, where we act on behalf of office holders, creditors, and other stakeholders in a wide range of disputes and legal proceedings including investigations and asset tracing, bringing and defending claims relating to antecedent transactions, and advising clients in personal and corporate insolvency proceedings, including bankruptcy and winding up.

The role is primarily supporting the senior members of the Cheltenham team, but you will also have the opportunity to support the wider team.

Whilst direct Restructuring and Insolvency experience would be desirable, we are also open to those from transferrable backgrounds such as dispute resolution, commercial and corporate.

Role of a Restructuring and Insolvency Solicitor:

  • Promote and drive high standards of service and accuracy across the department or team
  • Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within the Restructuring and Insolvency team, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge.
  • Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development opportunities.

About You

You will need:

  • To be a Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) likely NQ to 3 year PQE either with experience in Restructuring and Insolvency, or have some transferrable experience in other areas such as dispute resolution and corporate/commercial.
  • Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships
