About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join our Corporate team in the Midlands specialising in Health & Social Care transactions. The team are highly regarded in the sector and work with clients nationally and have a broad client base to include, Private Equity, regional groups acting for both buyers and sellers. The Health and Social Care team have completed 280 deals with a value of over £400,000,000 during 2022. This team are fundamental to the wider Corporate team who are ranked no1 by Experian for volume of deals and Tier 1 in the Midlands. We are trusted advisors to our clients and operate with people at the centre of everything we do.

About You

In this role you will:

  • Advise on a range of corporate transactional work, including mergers, acquisitions, and sales.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within Corporate, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole Corporate team to share knowledge.
  • Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development opportunities.

About Us

You will need:

  • 0-5 years PQE
  • Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships
  • Excellent technical ability and drafting skills
  • Can demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Willingness to nurture and teach junior members of the team
